Ollie - I am Sheffield born and bred and, at the time of writing, have been a follower of Jesus for nearly 17 years. I am the Pastor here at BCC, with a heart to see God's Kingdom come in the community. My heart is to see people liberated by the Father's love, shown to us in the Good News of Jesus. My desire is for our church to be a place where the presence of God can be encountered and experienced. In more recent years I have worked as a Children's and Family Worker with a small parish church in Sheffield. I have also spent time working in other churches and an After School club. I have spent 5 years (not consecutive!) in a theological college and I am also a qualified play worker. I am excited to see what God is going to do in Buxton! Jo - I am originally from Reading but moved to Buxton in 2004 to work with Good news Family Care. I have since left and studied mental health nursing at Sheffield Hallam University. I met Ollie whilst living in Sheffield and we have a similar heart for seeing people's lives transformed by the risen power of Jesus. I am excited to be back in Buxton and to see how God is going meet with people in this community. I believe God is Love, and He is desperate to show and share that through us.
